One Laptop Per Child

Hello, I am an editor on English Wikibooks a sister project of Wikimedia. We are having a discussion there about how we can contribute to the One Laptop Per Child project. One Laptop Per Child has recently announced that one of the countries they will be delivering computers to is Cambodia. I wonder if anyone here would be interested in (or know someone else who would) translating some content for the project. ការរួមចំនែករបស់ខ្ញុំ/User contributions

Although my knowledge of Khmer is fairly limited, I wonder if the phrase "ការរួមចំនែករបស់ខ្ញុំ" in the toolbar on the left-hand side (with the default stylesheet) when viewing userpages would be better translated "ការរួមចំនែករបស់អ្នកប្រើ", seeing as the contributions are for whatever user you are viewing, rather than automatically being your own contributions.

Also, is anyone aware of a way to update the logo in the upper-left hand corner to use what I believe is now the more accepted spelling found on the front page?--រ៉ាចើ/Roger McCoy ០៨:២៥, ១៥ វិច្ឆិកា ២០០៧ (UTC)

Political party question

User:Political Dweeb does not know enough Khmer/Cambodian language since I seem to be able to speak mostly in English but my question I want to give to you is this. Is it possible for me to make a list of all the political parties from the website of the National Electoral Commission of Cambodia that I want and show them to you here on “វិគីភីឌា:ChatKhmer for Non-Khmer Speakers” and ask you to give me the logos and manifestos of those political parties that are on that list?

kmer cannot be seen with mobile phone

• Nowadays, though Khmer Unicode font is widely available and installed in many PCs, in term of mobile phones, only very few phone can support Khmer Unicode. I don't have a list of Khmer unicode supported mobile handsets too. But very optimistic that it will be widely available in near future. For Chem Lenh, nh diagraph doesn't exist in Khmer, it's Vietnamese and portuguese languages.

New layout

As can be seen from the top of the pages on Khmer Wikipedia, a new lay-out is going to be launched. This layout has already been launched for other versions, including en: and my home-wiki no:. When using the new vector skin (can be seen in beta), there is a drop down menu for special characters. One severe weakness with this menu is that it does not include special characters for Khmer. I am now proposing a layout for Khmer to be added to this menu. Please see my subpage: no:Bruker:V85/Alphabets#Khmer. Please leave any comments/queries you might have for it on the discussion page.
