English: A view of the gilded stupa of the Buddhist Wat Chom Si temple at Luang Prabang in Laos. Wat Chom Si is regarded by Laotians to be one of the most sacred places in Luang Prabang and tourists are often asked to dress decently, avoid making loud noises or engaging in arguments at the summit of Mount Phou si. The Wat Chom Si temple sits atop Mount Phou si and enjoys spectacular views of Luang Prabang. The temple was built in 1804 and Wat Chom Si's gold spired stupa can be seen from most parts of Luang Prabang below.
