English: Kituwah Academy on the Qualla Boundary in North Carolina. The Kituwah Preservation & Education Program includes a language immersion school operated by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The school teaches the same curriculum as other primary schools, but the Cherokee language is the medium of instruction and students learn it as a first language.
